Group Employee Relations Lead - Quality Assurance, Human Resources

Human Resources leads the implementation of the Group's people strategy in line with business objectives. We facilitate talent management, succession planning and employee mobility while defining and overseeing frameworks that support employee performance management, reward, learning and development, resourcing and engagement.

In this role, you will:

  • Have overall responsibility for the QA function for HR led investigations and its ongoing evolution, implementation and embedding of processes and procedures
  • Provide consistent independent oversight and quality assessment of the HR led:
  • investigations process; and
  • investigations conducted under the process through sampling and testing
  • Manage quality across all HR led Investigations, drawing on continuous improvement opportunities, independence maintenance, process and cost management
  • Issue appropriate guidance, instructions and processes to ensure QA standards for Investigations are met and applied consistently in line with the ER Investigation Toolkit and standard operating procedures
  • Assess investigations against appropriate standards for skills, training and competencies of Quality Assessors
  • Oversight of the production of QA MI, and report to relevant governance committees and ad hoc as required
  • Utilise QA MI to support quality, procedural and process improvements in Investigations
  • Deliver lessons learned and trends and analysis materials to deliver feedback to the HR investigation teams and Regional leads in both ER and HR
  • Work Collaboratively with the Group Heads of Investigations Oversight and Management and Transformation on the change agenda and ongoing workstreams
  • Line management responsibility for one team member

Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

  • Experience in Employee Relations (ER), Human Resources (HR) or Industrial Relations (IR) is essential
  • Experience in undertaking investigations/analysis into customer activity with the ability to draw inferences from the information is essential
  • Experience of project/change management either as lead or SME contributing towards delivery of initiatives in a time driven environment would be desirable
  • Fluency in Spanish would be desirable for this role, but not essential. Fluency in English is essential for the role
  • Experience in compilation of reports and/or management information is essential for this role
  • Strong organizational skills and a collaborative working style
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, in addition to numerate and detail orientated with experience of documenting information in a clear, concise manner
  • Persistence and courage of their own convictions to follow up on noted quality issues and monitor agreed management
  • Previous auditing or assurance experience is an advantage as well as a working knowledge of Employee Relations and or workplace investigations
  • Ability to maintain control, direction and motivation in an ever-changing environment.

The base location for this role is London with hybrid working arrangements in place. Other global locations will be considered on a case by case basis.
