Position Overview:

The Employee Relations and Operations Lead will oversee and enhance employee relations processes, ensuring adherence to UK employment regulations and promoting a positive workplace culture. This role demands a proficient HR expert with extensive knowledge in employee relations, exceptional problem-solving skills, and outstanding communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Employee Relations Strategy: Formulate and execute effective employee relations strategies that align with Civica's business goals and cultivate a constructive workplace environment.

Case Management: Address and resolve intricate employee relations matters, including disciplinary actions, grievances, performance evaluations, and workplace investigations, ensuring equitable and consistent enforcement of company policies.

Compliance: Guarantee that all employee relations practices conform to UK employment laws and regulations. Stay informed about legislative changes and advise senior management on necessary actions.

Policy Development: Create, review, and update HR policies and procedures related to employee relations, ensuring they embody best practices and are effectively communicated to staff.

Advisory Role: Offer expert guidance to managers and employees on employee relations issues, assisting in conflict resolution and enhancing workplace relationships.

Training and Development: Design and deliver training sessions for managers and employees on employee relations topics, including conflict resolution, performance management, and effective communication.

Data and Analytics: Employ HR metrics and analytics to monitor employee relations trends, pinpoint areas for enhancement, and report key performance indicators to senior management.

Mediation and Conflict Resolution: Serve as a mediator in employee disputes, facilitating resolutions that are equitable and advantageous for both employees and the organization.

Engagement Initiatives: Spearhead initiatives aimed at boosting employee engagement and satisfaction, collaborating closely with the HR team to devise and implement engagement strategies.

Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with employee relations issues, ensuring proactive measures are established to prevent workplace conflicts and maintain a harmonious work environment.

Employee Relations Leadership: Provide coaching and training to team members, ensuring they are well-versed in legislation and company policies.
