Head of English – Alternative Provision
Are you an experienced English Teacher or current Head of English looking for a new opportunity for September 2024? Do you enjoy inspiring a love for English Language & Literature? The Education Network are working closely with this Ofsted "Good" Alternative Provision to secure a Head of English for September 2024.

Ther is much to like about this school, facilities are excellent, students are generally engaged with lessons and the SLT are highly supportive. As Head of English, you will be working closely with the Headteacher to ensure that students receive an outstanding education, regardless of their previous experiences. This role requires a Head of English who has excellent subject knowledge and strong classroom management skills. You will be managing a small team and be responsible for the development and delivery of the English curriculum. This is an outstanding opportunity for an English Teacher who is an aspiring Head of English or a Head of English who is looking for a highly rewarding opportunity.

Job Role:
  • Leading a team of English Teachers to provide an outstanding education within a dynamic Alternative Provision.
  • Teaching English to Key Stages 3 & 4 up to GCSE.
  • Teaching small classes of no more than 10 students.
  • Tailoring the English curriculum to suit the needs of learners.
  • Inspiring a love for all things English Language and Literature.
