About the Role: We're seeking an expert Asset Care Manager to lead and implement our site asset care strategy, driving outstanding engineering performance across filling, disgorge, warehousing and cooperage. You'll lead a team of around 50, including indirect and direct reports – skills and remits within the team consist of engineers, site assurance and operational tech.

About the Sites: Although primarily based at Blackgrange, this role and team operate across six sites within the central belt of Scotland. Functionally, they are responsible for a range of activity relating to the maturation process in Whisky production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementing asset care strategy.
  • Lead asset care teams to enhance site performance.
  • Lead budgets and improve site resilience.
  • Drive Capex initiatives and oversee engineering projects.
  • Develop maintenance competencies and upskill teams.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.

What You'll Bring:

  • Degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Electrical Engineering.
  • Significant managerial experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • An ability to work through decentralised teams in delivering asset care.
  • Validated ability to lead and develop multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Ability to influence across varied stakeholder groups and levels.
  • Strong strategic and financial acumen as well as problem-solving skills.
  • NEBOSH qualification or equivalent is advantageous.
