Edinburgh, Edinburgh, United Kingdom Stantec Full time
Position Overview
Stantec is dedicated to enhancing community resilience through effective asset management.

About the Role

Our Asset Management Team boasts a proven history of successful outcomes across sectors that are asset-intensive. We collaborate with clients to enhance performance and unlock financial, social, environmental, and intellectual value from their assets.

In this role, you will be instrumental in delivering condition assessments and inspections of assets, contributing to the development of asset registers. This will facilitate future initiatives such as condition-based monitoring, relevant maintenance strategies (preventative, predictive, and planned), asset criticality assessments, capital investment planning, and environmental impact evaluations.

As part of the Asset Management Team, you will also engage in various Stantec-wide design and delivery projects across multiple disciplines, assisting with additional asset management consultancy tasks as necessary.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess experience in operating and maintaining assets, along with a solid understanding of engineering plants and equipment, as well as applicable building services standards.

Familiarity with mobile surveying software and reporting tools is advantageous. You should have experience in managing client relationships at an operational level, with a thorough knowledge of current legislation, technical standards, and codes of practice.

An understanding of CMMS and CAFM systems is preferred, alongside a strong awareness of health and safety protocols in operational settings, including adherence to risk assessments. Progress towards a NEBOSH/IOSH qualification is also a plus.

This position requires regular travel to project sites.
