About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil/Structural Engineer to join our Water Consulting team as an Asset Management Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading asset inspection and condition reporting programs, collaborating with our innovation team to identify and implement innovative techniques and technologies, and providing technical guidance and support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead asset inspection and condition reporting programs for our water industry clients
  • Collaborate with our innovation team to identify and implement innovative techniques and technologies
  • Provide technical guidance and support to our clients on asset management strategies and solutions
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and delivery of projects
  • Contribute to the development of innovative solutions and approaches to asset management and condition reporting
Requirements
  • BEng, MEng in Civil/Structural Engineering or similar qualification
  • Chartered Engineer (CEng) or nearing Chartered Engineer status with ICE, IStructE or similar
  • Relevant postgraduate experience working in a consulting engineering practice or similar organizational structure
  • Knowledge of engineering design procedures and construction processes related to concrete, steel, and masonry
  • Experience of inspections of civil/structural assets
  • Working knowledge of BS/EN standards
  • Experience of utilizing a relevant data acquisition/analysis software package
