SRS Care Solutions Central is seeking a Home Care Operations Coordinator to oversee our staff and service users, ensuring alignment with our core values of compassion, respect, wellbeing, dignity, and inclusivity.
In the role of Home Care Operations Coordinator, you will be tasked with managing staff and client schedules in advance, utilizing the Birdie scheduling system. This position is office-based, requiring a commitment of 35 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand the needs of service users through person-centred outcome planning.
- Collaborate with the Service/Registered Manager and service users to effectively match staff to meet individual requirements.
- Maintain comprehensive, person-centred support plans, risk assessments, and service user documentation.
- Coordinate shift coverage for Home Care Support Workers, which may occasionally involve providing direct support.
- Participate in an out-of-hours rota as necessary.
- Ensure timely reporting of any changes to service user schedules and arrange for replacement staff accordingly.
- Update support plans, service user files, and complete other administrative duties as required.
- Deliver high-quality, person-centred personal care to service users, including intimate procedures when necessary.
- Attend relevant meetings as directed by the Service/Registered Manager.
- Engage in staff induction processes as needed.
- Ensure all service user and staff files are maintained in accordance with company policies.
You will be expected to complete all necessary training to meet the standards set by Health and Social Care Standards and SSSC Codes of Practice, maintaining your SSSC registration.
A S/NVQ level 3 in Adult Health and Social Care or a willingness to pursue this qualification is required.
