Sales Development Rep – Recent Graduate (FMCG)
St Albans, Office Based – International Travel
£25,000 (up to 28k after 6 months) £35000 Inc. Commission
My client is a leading provider of market and consumer intelligence, combining market research, in-depth consumer surveys, and a detailed market understanding to produce cost-effective, commercially focused insights for each client across the food, beverage, and supplement markets worldwide. However, they are expanding into the personal care industry and would like the candidate to have a keen interest in consumer nutrition, food and beverages, and personal care.
The Role… You will need to have great communication skills in order to speak on the phone with industry leaders and book them in for demos for the senior members of the team. This role will allow you to build valuable connections and help you gain an understanding of the food, beverage, and nutrition industry to support your client's growth.
Key Responsibilities…
- Generate and qualify leads through various methods, including phone calls, emails, and attending industry trade shows.
- Understanding client’s business objectives and challenges and providing them with insight-driven solutions
- Manage the initial sales process of cold calling to booking in a demo.
- Generating a pipeline of 5-8 demos booked weekly
- Exceeding monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Provide additional support for the research and content team, helping to identify potential industry trends.
