We are partnering with ACEPP, an industrial technology consulting company specialising in the nuclear, civil, military, and naval sectors, serving clients in those industries for more than 25 years.
As part of its expansion, ACEPP opened its subsidiary in Bristol and created the HR Business Partner position to meet business needs with the right human competencies.
The HR Business Partner has a strategic role within the Human Resources department in the newly created subsidiary, ACEPP UK. Working closely with the UK Managing Director and operational managers, you will help define and implement the HR strategy of the UK division, considering human capital.
You are involved at various decision-making and strategic levels, including recruitment, onboarding, career management, and training.
You will report directly to the UK Managing Director and, functionally, to the Group HR Director.
Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with the business objectives and legal framework.
2. Drive a high-performance culture, continuously implementing and reviewing processes and procedures where necessary.
3. Work closely with the headquarters to assist in solving local HR issues based on the HR needs of organisational managers and in conjunction with HR-related systems and local policies.
4. Recruitment
- Based on business needs, propose the local company's annual personnel plan and recruitment needs, carry out recruitment implementation and staff allocation;
- Provide creative and innovative solutions for the MD and Senior team during growth in an under-resourced market.
- Partner with managers in the recruitment process, defining short-, mid-and long-term resource plans and developing internal talent.
5. Talent development and training implementation, based on business development and personnel requirements
- Propose talent development needs
- Assist in formulating and promoting the implementation of talent development and training work
- Drive the onboarding process
6. Daily administrative work
- Responsible for local office administrative and expense management, attendance and salary management, organisation of daily activity arrangements, formulation and release of administrative-related management regulations, etc.
- Provide employee relations advice to managers with practical support
7. Compensation and Benefits
Support the development and implementation of the C&B strategy, ensuring employee compensation and benefits are aligned with current and future business needs.
8. Drive performance management through the effective use of the Company's goal-setting and performance management process.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- You have a degree in Human Resources (CIPD or equivalent)
- Minimum 3 years' experience as an HR Business Partner or in a similar position.
- You will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with team members.
- You will have experience in managing payroll, benefits and industrial relations.
- You are fluent in French and English.
