Assistant Director/Associate Director

We are seeking a seasoned Human Resources Business Partner to join our team at Acuity Knowledge Partners in London. The ideal candidate will have a hands-on approach to managing all facets of human resources, including recruitment, employee engagement, CSR, and employee relations.

The role will report directly to the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a strategic HR Business Partner to the USA/UK leadership team, coordinating with functional HR leaders in India.
  • Analyze HR trends and metrics in partnership with global HR teams to develop solutions, programs, and policies for the US and UK.
  • Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation to employees, serving as the voice of employee concerns.
  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives for recruiting diverse talent in a multi-site organization, providing in-depth data on UK and US hiring markets and trends.
  • Manage the full cycle direct recruiting process in the US and UK to meet staffing goals across all levels within multiple business units, aligning with global hiring mandates.
  • Work in sync with global HR strategy, driving all HR initiatives in the US and UK.
  • Plan and execute company-wide events, such as town halls and social events.
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, conducting effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
  • Advise management on appropriate resolutions to employee relations issues.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day employee management, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Develop and implement CSR initiatives that reflect the company's values and support its mission and vision.
Key Competencies:
  • Bachelor's degree required; master's degree in a related field preferred. Any HR certification is an added advantage.
  • 10-12 years of experience in HR positions, with a deep understanding of HRBP responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing complex HR issues, recruitment, CSR initiatives, and employee engagement/employee relations.
  • Analytical and goal-oriented.
  • Demonstrable experience with HR metrics.
  • Standard office hours apply, with additional hours as needed to meet project deadlines and respond to urgent HR issues.
