Job Title: Human Resources Business Partner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join our team at Career Legal. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a vital role in delivering HR support and advice to our partners and managers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic guidance and support to Practice Group Heads in delivering departmental specific strategies.
  • Support the creation and delivery of a department talent management plan, identifying high potential individuals and implementing succession plans for key roles.
  • Coach and influence managers to develop their people management and leadership skills, constructively challenging inappropriate behaviors and actions.
  • Ensure the annual performance appraisal process is completed in a timely and fair manner, facilitating department-wide moderation to ensure a robust and consistent distribution of ratings.
  • Provide proactive recruitment support, including interviewing, to designated departments, ensuring recruitment excellence is maintained at all times.
  • Manage the annual staff salary review process for designated departments.
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of employment law, employee statutory rights, the Equality Act, and ACAS codes of practice.
  • Commercial awareness, attention to detail, accuracy, communication, and team working skills.
  • Resilience, ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities and deadlines, and confidence in a fast-paced environment.
