Job Title: Sales Director EMEA


Job Summary: The role is part of sales operations for a dynamic, fast growing ISV. The software product you will be selling is an enterprise-class digital transformation platform, used by some of the world’s largest and most demanding blue-chip organisations and Global SIs. You will be part of a team responsible for all aspects of the software sales process from new business generation through to managing enterprise deals through Systems Integrator partners.


Job Description: You will join our team of highly experienced enterprise software salespeople working closely with our customers, new prospects and partners. You will draw upon a broad base of sales skills to fulfil a wide range of responsibilities across the EMEA sales territory:


Primary responsibilities


  • Prospecting for new blue-chip logos via your own networking and working with the Juriba lead generation team
  • Following up of incoming leads via the CRM system
  • Qualification of all new business opportunities
  • Management of the pipeline funnel
  • Generating and closing of new business deals to meet quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Working closely with defined partners on business opportunities
  • Management of the partner sales pipeline to meet quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Existing user-base sales
  • Manage all day-to-day client interactions from a sales perspective
  • Prospect for additional software licence sales
  • Prospect for additional Professional Services sales
  • Ensure that existing annual Maintenance and Support contracts are renewed


Secondary responsibilities


  • Maintain the CRM System
  • Must become proficient in the use of Hubspot
  • Maintain records of all prospect and client sales interactions
  • Maintain accurate deal records


Clear deliverables will be set and you must manage these to agreed milestones and deadlines, collaborating with the Global Sales Director to give progress reports and understand changing requirements. Much of the time you will be working remotely from your management and others in the team, so an ability to self-manage and self-motivate is essential. Communication will be a key skill to enable you to work effectively with others in the team and understand cross-impacts. You must be flexible enough to adapt to a rapidly changing market dynamics, whilst managing your time effectively to be able to meet deadlines.


Relevant Skills:


  • Ability to negotiate and present at C-level
  • Ability to navigate complex enterprise IT environments to find the decision-makers and budget holders
  • Capable of prospecting for new business based on your existing contact network, and researching new prospects using tools like LinkedIn
  • Experienced at selling into the End User Computing sector
  • Experienced at complex enterprise software and/or services sales
  • Experienced at selling 6 and 7 figure deals into Fortune 500 and/or FTSE 250 companies
  • Drive to succeed and run a business-within-a-business
  • Fluency in French or Spanish is desirable
