Main Purpose Of Job:
The Finance and HR Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting both the HR and Finance departments. This role involves ensuring the smooth operation of daily tasks and maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with a solid understanding of HR processes and financial tasks.
Location: Hybrid - Home working with some travel where necessary
Main Tasks Of Job:
HR Support:
• Administer HR processes, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
• Support the recruitment process, including job postings, interview scheduling, and preparation of offer letters.
• Assist with onboarding new employees and ensure completion of all necessary documentation.
• Monitor compliance with employment laws and regulations, recommending policy updates as needed.
• Address employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
Finance Support:
• Assist in the daily reconciliation of financial transactions.
• Support the preparation of financial reports and statements.
• Aid in accounts payable and receivable tasks.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation.
• Assist in budgeting and financial forecasting.
• Perform additional financial duties as assigned to support the finance team.
Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations.
• Assist in implementing new HR policies and procedures.
• Monitor changes in employment law and recommend necessary adjustments to company policies.
• Conduct regular audits of HR and finance records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Other Responsibilities:
• Provide general administrative support to the HR and Finance departments.
• Participate in special projects as required.
• Assist with coordinating company events and employee activities.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information at all times.
Desired Attributes but Not Essential
• Previous experience in a similar HR or finance support role is preferred but not essential.
•Desire to obtain an understanding of HR processes and employment law.
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
•Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
•Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
•Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•High level of integrity and professionalism.

If successful, Tutors & Exams will require evidence of your right to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS Certificate if not already held and registered on the DBS Update Service. The position is subject to agreeing to Terms and Conditions and a suitable application and reference process.
