DK Recruitment are searching for a Purchase Ledger Assistant based in Plymouth. This role is perfect for someone with specific purchase ledger experience looking to grow within a very successful business.
As a Purchase Ledger Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our finance department. Your primary responsibility will be managing and maintaining the purchase ledger, ensuring all invoices are processed accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
* Accurately process supplier invoices and credit notes.
* Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies.
* Prepare and process payment runs.
* Maintain accurate and upto-date supplier accounts.
* Assist in monthend closing activities.
* Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to resolve queries.
* Support the finance team with adhoc tasks as required.
Skills and Experience Required:
* Specific previous purchase ledger experience.
* Strong numerical and analytical skills.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* A proactive and positive approach to work.
