A leading investment management firm is hiring in their UK Institutional Sales team. This is a great opportunity to join a successful and fast growing company, with some excellent products to bring to market across both traditional and alternative asset classes.


Reporting into the Head of Institutional Sales you will be responsible for:


  • Strategically develop proactive plans aimed at driving new business growth from (LGPS) funds, UK corporates, and other relevant institutional channels.
  • Leverage relationships with investment consultants to achieve ambitious sales targets
  • Deliver compelling presentations during pitches and meetings, showcasing the firm’s value proposition and tailored solutions.
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of opportunities, ensuring effective tracking and management of all potential business leads.
  • Regularly advising Sales Management on current market developments and potential new strategies.


The ideal candidate will have:


  • Experience in business development focusing on servicing institutional investors.
  • A network and track record in LGPS sales is essential.
  • In-house Asset Management experience is required.
  • Confidence in in-depth strategic discussions with prospective and existing clients at senior executive level.
  • Technical knowledge across investment strategies.
  • Excellent all-round communication skills and ability to negotiate and influence.
