The Role

Our client is looking to recruit a senior Allied Health Professional (AHP) to manage their Health and Wellbeing team which supports people with long-term physical and mental health conditions to self-manage and improve their wellbeing.

The role requires an experienced practitioner with the proven ability to lead and manage a team of practitioners, design projects and services and build successful relationships with local agencies and organisations within community settings.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Be a senior Allied Health Professional with extensive knowledge and experience of supporting people living with long term physical and mental health conditions to self-manage.
  • Have a background in collaborative, outcomes focused, strength based and trauma informed approaches and recognise the value of a generic, non-specialist approach to supported self-management.
  • Be experienced in supporting staff to manage caseloads, waiting times, and ensuring the achievement of expected outcomes.
  • Be experienced in using participative approaches to leadership and team building.
  • Hold a firm belief that people have strengths, are resilient and are experts in their own lives.
  • Have excellent solution focused coaching, group facilitation skills and experience of training delivery
