Job SummaryThis is an exciting opportunity to work with individuals with complex mental health needs, including those with learning disabilities and autistic spectrum disorder. As a Clinical/Forensic/Counselling Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychological assessments and interventions, as well as contributing to the development of care plans and evaluating the service.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out psychological assessments and provide therapy to individuals and groups
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop care plans
- Evaluate the service and contribute to its development
- Provide training and supervision to colleagues and consultation to teams
- Disseminate outcomes through conference presentations and publications
- HCPC registration as a Clinical/Forensic/Counselling Psychologist
- Experience in a clinical forensic or mental health setting
- Experience of working within a Learning Disabilities Service
- Training in complex therapies such as Schema focused, Cognitive Analytical and DBT
- Passion for working with individuals with complex mental health needs
- Strong career progression opportunities into management roles
