Recently, they have formed a strategic partnership with a Tier 1 provider of ERP solutions, marking a significant expansion in their capabilities and market presence. This new alliance will enable them to offer cutting-edge ERP solutions to a broader range of clients, particularly in the manufacturing sector, and positions them for substantial growth.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and ambitious ERP Sales professional to spearhead this new partnership. This role is perfect for an experienced ERP sales professional who is ready to take the next step in their career. They would also be interested in speaking to existing ERP Sales Directors who are keen to seek out a new challenge. Initially, you will be an individual contributor responsible for generating and converting leads, and look to build and lead a sales team as the organization scales. You will play a key role in driving the success of this new partnership and expanding the company’s market footprint.
Key Responsibilities:
- ERP Software Sales: Directly sell ERP software solutions to new customers, focusing on the manufacturing sector.
- Lead Generation and Nurturing: Develop and manage leads through networking events, LinkedIn groups, and other channels. Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
- Customer Engagement: Travel to customer sites across the UK and Europe to build relationships and close high-value deals.
- Industry Expertise: Leverage knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, IFS, Epicor, and Sage to tailor solutions to client needs.
- Collaboration: Work closely with pre-sales and industry-specific partners to demonstrate products and develop warm leads.
- Training and Development: Participate in comprehensive training programs to become fully knowledgeable about the company’s offerings and value propositions.
- Performance Tracking: Meet and exceed sales targets, with a focus on closing at least three new deals per year within the £1 million to £200 million range, earning a 30% commission on deals.
- Market Insight: Stay informed about industry trends and the competitive landscape to effectively position the company’s solutions.
- Team Leadership: Build and expand a sales team to support growing sales efforts and take on a leadership role as the team grows.
Qualifications:
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in selling ERP software solutions, with a history of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- ERP Expertise: In-depth knowledge of ERP systems, including SAP, Oracle NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, Epicor, IFS, and Sage.
- Sales Acumen: Strong ability to generate leads, build relationships, and close deals. Experience working with vendor partners is a plus.
- Ambitious and Driven: Highly motivated and goal-oriented, ready for a challenging role with high expectations.
- Remote Work Capability: Ability to work remotely while traveling across the UK and Europe as needed.
- Leadership Potential: Experience or potential to build and lead a sales team.
