An International Renewable Energy Developer are currently seeking a Project Development Manager to join their growing team. As a Project Development Manager in this position, you will be involved in all aspects of renewable energy project development, spanning from the initial identification of sites to their completion. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for taking charge of your projects, overseeing project risk and feasibility during all phases of project development.
Responsibilities
* Lead on conducting evaluations of potential sites suitable for renewable energy project development using diverse mapping tools, conducting site feasibility studies, energy yield analysis, assessing project budgets and cashflow.
* Overseeing the process of grid connections and coordinating with planning contractors.
* Engaging with landowners and land agents to secure land for renewable energy projects, involving site visits.
* Negotiating agreements.
* Facilitating community consultations with local stakeholders.
* Preparing comprehensive board packs for the senior management team.
* Ensure the timely execution of essential project deadlines and milestones.
Requirements
* 2+ years experience in the renewable energy industry (solar/wind/BESS).
* Experience of the entire development lifecycle.
* Commercial management skills
