NHS Supply Chain currently has an opportunity for a Supply Chain Planning Development Manager to join our team during an exciting period of transformation, working to make it easier for the NHS to put patients first.
We are seeking a strategic Supply Chain Planning Development Manager who will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing improvements to all supply chain planning processes, systems, and capabilities for the organisation. They will design, develop, and implement planning connectivity with Customers and Suppliers to improve supply chain resilience.
Every day you will … 
Manage the delivery of a major part of the organisation’s inventory control program, whilst taking responsibility for a small number of critical supplier relationships.
Initiate, formulate, and implement new business practices within a specific discipline while managing the development and delivery of the organisation's change management program.
Manage workstreams and projects within a transformational change program ensuring integration with related projects building acceptance of change and embedding the desired culture and behaviours.
Create well-defined road maps that align predictive analytics projects with business needs, leading cross-functional teams in the implementation and ongoing use of advanced and predictive analytics software tools and functionalities.

What skills will help you thrive in this role?
A high level of analytical and logical thinking capability, with an appropriate Degree or Equivalent Level qualification.
Significant operational experience in Demand planning, Supply Planning, and Distribution requirements planning in a complex supply chain.
Significant experience playing a lead business user role in the implementation of Demand and Supply planning tools.
