We are excited to present an opportunity for a Procurement Assistant within our Commercial Diagnostic team at Supply Chain Coordination Limited.

The Procurement Assistant will play a crucial role within the category teams, ensuring that procurement operations are executed in alignment with established KPIs. This position involves supporting the comprehensive procurement process for our clients and stakeholders, consistently delivering exceptional service and fostering effective relationships to meet overall objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attain specific procurement objectives while adhering to established systems and protocols.
  • Conduct thorough research to understand external trends and assess their potential impact on the organization.
  • Collect and analyze data on existing contract performance to inform new contract initiatives.
  • Execute basic contract management duties and perform research using primary data sources to identify key themes and trends.
  • Create moderately complex documents utilizing various software applications and summarize data for reporting purposes.
  • Extract pertinent information from provided data and organize it into spreadsheets or standard formats.
  • Develop a solid understanding of the organization's policies, procedures, and relevant regulatory codes, ensuring compliance in all tasks.
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement by coordinating actions, meetings, and events.
  • Gather insights on key cost drivers, market dynamics, and supplier alternatives to support informed decision-making for senior colleagues.
  • Deliver high-quality service to clients while identifying opportunities for new business and supporting customer retention efforts.
