About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Category Manager to join our Diagnostics, Equipment and Services team. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will play a pivotal role in driving our future strategic delivery and ensuring the efficient sourcing and delivery of healthcare products to NHS trusts and healthcare organisations across England and Wales.

Key Responsibilities
  • Category Planning and Management: Develop and implement a specific category plan to improve the supply chain, reduce risk, create competitive advantage, and deliver savings.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain cross-functional relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and external partners to identify and implement improvements in our ways of working.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct research using primary data sources to analyse key themes and trends, and provide insights to inform decision-making.
  • Relationship Building: Support senior leaders in building and optimising relationships with external and internal stakeholders, including key decision-makers, regulators, and suppliers.
  • Professional Development: Participate in assessment and development planning activities, and maintain external professional accreditation to improve performance and personal potential.
