About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Merchandiser to join our team at Zachary Daniels. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and optimizing product performance across various categories.
Key Responsibilities:
- Forecasting and Analysis: Produce reliable and timely sales forecasts for SKUs and categories at market level, analyzing commercial data to identify trading opportunities and trends.
- Product Management: Manage continuous product reviews, including the robust analysis of category and SKU performance, to ensure optimal product and category performance.
- Inventory Management: Implement the correct infrastructure and best practices when delivering new products, ensuring adequate stock levels and minimizing overstock issues.
- Category Development: Optimize product and category performance, from demand, markdown, stock, intake, and returns, to ensure best sellers reach their full potential.
- Competitor Analysis: Monitor competitor websites and market trends, making recommendations to improve the product proposition and stay ahead of the competition.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Supply Chain team to identify and manage any risks to the commercial strategy, ensuring seamless execution of business plans.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in merchandising or a related field.
