POSITION SUMMARY


Oversee the logistics of product supply from a network of manufacturers to fulfill anticipated demand across the international market.

Manage the supply chain operations utilizing Microsoft Dynamics (MSD) and Blue Yonder (BY) systems.

The Supply Planning team comprises three distinct roles: Supply Chain Coordinator, Supply Chain Coordinator (Kitting), and Supply Chain Coordinator (Innovations).


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Supply Chain Coordinator:
Facilitate the weekly and monthly planning activities in MSD and BY to oversee the supply of products from various external manufacturers.
Accountable for global inventory availability, develop production schedules for each manufacturer. Review and authorize purchase requisitions to maintain target inventory levels in the market.

During the monthly Supply Review, part of the organization’s S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) process, present updated plans for each manufacturer, along with the implications for customer service, inventory, and costs.

Collaborate with manufacturers and the Deployment and Logistics teams to ensure timely dispatch and delivery of stock according to agreed service levels.

Monitor and report on-time delivery performance for each manufacturer.

Coordinate with the Supply Chain Coordinator (Innovations) to ensure that Limited Edition and New Product Development (NPD) requirements are integrated into supplier schedules and delivered punctually.

Ensure that schedules align with agreed sales forecasts and ramp-up plans.

Lead the resolution of supply chain challenges as they arise, coordinating actions with manufacturers and teams in various locations.

Proactively identify potential issues to manage supply chain risks.
Work closely with the Master Data team to ensure accurate master data is maintained in MSD/BY.
Ensure MSD is fully updated with all inbound, outbound, and finished goods movements.

Achieve stock accuracy targets through proper processing of stock movements - conduct regular reconciliations of inventory held at manufacturing sites.

Identify opportunities to eliminate excess and obsolete inventory.
Raise purchase orders as necessary for incidental (non-inventory) costs incurred at manufacturing sites.

Supply Chain Coordinator (Kitting):
Serve as the primary contact between the organization and third-party kitting operations.

Establish and manage an efficient weekly planning process that meets the needs of the organization and kitting suppliers while fitting within the overall S&OP framework.

Plan kitting operations, reviewing and approving purchase requisitions to ensure incoming stock is kitted and that target inventory levels are maintained.

Conduct regular housekeeping to ensure accurate supply planning of the kitting operations.

Provide a long-term perspective on kitting requirements to enable kitting suppliers to plan their capacity effectively.

Collaborate with other Supply Chain Coordinators to understand product constraints, ensuring these are accurately reflected in the kitting schedule.

Work with the Supply Chain Coordinator (Innovations) to ensure that Limited Edition and NPD requirements are incorporated into the kitting schedule and delivered on time.

Ensure MSD is updated with the latest kitting schedule to facilitate stock deployment to markets and provide end-to-end visibility of supply.

Raise purchase orders for packaging components to meet the kitting schedule. Raise purchase orders for incidental (non-inventory) costs as required.
Regularly review all elements of supply chain planning parameters and master data to ensure accuracy in MSD/BY.

Achieve stock accuracy targets through proper processing of stock movements - conduct regular reconciliations of inventory held at kitting locations and oversee periodic physical counts.

Collaborate cross-functionally with finance on any invoice queries to ensure timely payments to the kitting house.
Provide input into the Supply Planning Review (part of the S&OP cycle).

Supply Chain Coordinator (Innovations):


Take charge of planning the supply of new products and Limited Editions from inception to completion, ensuring timely market delivery while minimizing air freight needs.

Represent the Supply Chain on cross-functional Limited Edition and NPD project teams.
Be responsible for establishing the Supply Chain strategy for each new product launch.
Collaborate with cross-functional project teams to ensure that new products are correctly and timely set up in MSD/BY.
Ensure that new products flow seamlessly through the Supply Chain process, from manufacturing through kitting to market deployment. Work with other Supply Chain Coordinators to ensure that necessary components are available on time.
Clearly and accurately communicate launch plans for new products and Limited Editions.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES

Experience in managing supplier relationships
Strong focus on customer service, both internally and externally
Proven ability to build relationships and manage stakeholders
Strong numerical and analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Keen attention to detail with the capability to troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly

Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
