The Broker Support Specialist Role
We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Broker Support Specialist to join our team. This role is integral to ensuring the smooth operation of our brokerage services, providing essential support to our Mortgage Advisors. You will be involved in managing the pipeline of new and existing business, ensuring that all aspects of the mortgage application process are handled efficiently. Key Responsibilities:
Assist Mortgage Advisors by managing and interpreting documents, ensuring that all necessary paperwork is accurate and complete
Assess the viability of mortgage cases, conducting preliminary evaluations to support the advisors’ decision-making process
Engage in client outreach, acting as a liaison between advisors and clients to gather information, update them on case progress, and ensure a high level of service
Contribute to the maintenance of client relationships through timely and effective communication, ensuring excellence in customer service at every touchpoint
Maintain and update client records and databases, ensuring data integrity and compliance with privacy regulations
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality within the brokerage team
Qualifications and Experience of the Broker Support Specialist Role
No specific qualifications required; comprehensive training will be provided
Strong communication, organisational, and time-management skills are essential
Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently as well as part of a team
A keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Experience in customer service or administrative roles is highly beneficial
