Our Client is currently seeking a Contract Procurement Specialist to join their team on a 12 month contract basis.
The role will be based from the client offices in Teesside. Hybrid/ flexible working is an option but it's likely that the successful candidate will need to be office based circa 3 days per week.
This role will require leading the the procurement process for the selection and award of Facilities contracts and services working on a large scale joint venture decarbonisation project.
The section of project that our client has been awarded will span across two separate key areas equating to a multimillion pound contract.
Key experience:
* Developing procurement strategies for the various packages (value up to £30m)
* To prepare tender and contract documents
* To lead the tender process, through the full procurement lifecyle:
* Pre-qualification of potential suppliers
* Preparing tender documents including contract sections
* Liaise with tendering parties at clarification meetings, and to address queries.
* Provide tender bulletins where required
* Carry out tender evaluation and provide recommendations
* Carry out contract negotiation leading to contract award.
* Provide reporting and updates to the client on procurement progress and status.
