Job Description

We’re recruiting for a Procurement Sourcing Specialist to join us. We’re offering a competitive base salary and strong benefits package.

Due to an exciting transformation across our Procurement function, we are pleased to announce an opportunity for a skilled, ambitious, and proactive Sourcing Specialist, with some previous experience in Procurement, to join the team.

This is fantastic opportunity for someone that is passionate about a career in Procurement. The role offers a good amount of depth and variety, so you’ll be working on a variety of different tasks, giving you the experience needed to really develop your career and skillset.

What you'll be doing:

  • Managing requisition queues and purchase order approvals
  • Undertaking spend investigations and evaluations with a view to identifying anomalous spend and potential opportunities
  • Planning sourcing activities as required ensuring they are in accordance with policies and practices 
  • Producing project reports and other MI, in a timely and accurate manner
  • Carrying out all Sourcing activity in line with the company’s Consumer Duty accountability

Qualifications

Who we're looking for:

  • Previous experience working in a Procurement support or Contracts Governance position
  • Previous IT-related procurement experience and knowledge would be an advantage
  • Deal confidently with issues that arise and resolve or escalate as appropriate. 
  • The ability to produce reports and presentations in a well-structured way
  • Good relationship management experience with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Take a proactive approach to co-ordinating activity, assisting peers and sharing knowledge and expertise
