Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Sourcing Specialist to join our team at LegalAndGeneral. As a key member of our Procurement function, you will play a critical role in sourcing and procuring goods and services that meet our business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Requisition Queues and Purchase Order Approvals: Ensure timely and accurate processing of purchase orders and requisitions, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct Spend Investigations and Evaluations: Identify areas of anomalous spend and potential opportunities for cost savings, providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Plan Sourcing Activities: Develop and implement sourcing strategies that align with our business objectives, ensuring compliance with policies and practices.
  • Produce Project Reports and MI: Create timely and accurate reports and metrics to inform business decisions, providing insights into procurement performance.
  • Ensure Consumer Duty Accountability: Ensure all sourcing activities are conducted in accordance with our Consumer Duty accountability, maintaining the highest standards of customer service.

Requirements:

  • Previous Experience: Proven experience working in a Procurement support or Contracts Governance position, with a strong understanding of procurement processes and policies.
  • IT-Related Procurement Experience: Previous experience with IT-related procurement and knowledge of relevant technologies would be an advantage.
  • Communication and Relationship Management: Excellent communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
  • Reporting and Presentation Skills: Ability to produce well-structured reports and presentations, providing insights into procurement performance.
