Job Description

Alexander Lloyd is partnering with a large organization to hire a Category Manager - IT on a permanent basis.

As a key member of the category team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing IT category and sourcing strategies, working closely with the IT team to inform and influence business strategies and align category objectives.

  1. You must have IT procurement experience at a strategic level, knowledge of the IT supplier landscape, sourcing, category management, and relevant qualifications (CIPS / Bachelor's degree in business or a related field).
  2. A great planner with robust project management capabilities.
  3. You will need to be a self-starter, a strong communicator, and have proven relationship-building skills.

    This role requires a strong understanding of IT procurement principles and practices, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

    The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering successful category management projects and a deep understanding of the IT industry.
