Job Description
We're recruiting for aProcurement Sourcing Specialistto join us. We're offering a competitive base salary and strong benefits package.
Due to an exciting transformation across our Procurement function, we are pleased to announce an opportunity for a skilled, ambitious, and proactive Sourcing Specialist, with some previous experience in Procurement, to join the team.
This is fantastic opportunity for someone that is passionate about a career in Procurement. With the new transformation, there's an excellent depth in our team structure, giving you a clear career path. The role offers a good amount of depth and variety, so you'll be working on a variety of different tasks, giving you the experience needed to really develop your career and skillset. What you'll be doing:
- Managing requisition queues and purchase order approvals
- Undertaking spend investigations and evaluations with a view to identifying anomalous spend and potential opportunities
- Planning sourcing activities as required ensuring they are in accordance with policies and practices
- Producing project reports and other MI, in a timely and accurate manner
- Carrying out all Sourcing activity in line with the company's Consumer Duty accountability
Who we're looking for:
- Previous experience working in a Procurement support or Contracts Governance position
- Previous IT-related procurement experience and knowledge would be an advantage
- Deal confidently with issues that arise and resolve or escalate as appropriate.
- The ability to produce reports and presentations in a well-structured way
- Good relationship management experience with both internal and external stakeholders
- Take a proactive approach to co-ordinating activity, assisting peers and sharing knowledge and expertise
