Position Overview

We are seeking a Lead Electrical Engineering Specialist to join our expanding Major Projects division at Altrad UK, Ireland & Nordics. This role involves spearheading a Renewable Hydrogen initiative, leveraging extensive expertise in both Brownfield and Greenfield projects, encompassing Front End Engineering Design (FEED) and Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) activities.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to devise solutions and oversee technically complex and/or high-stakes challenges, with guidance from Consultant Engineers, Lead Engineers, or Project Engineering Managers. Effective communication with clients and senior management is essential.

Successful candidates will possess well-honed interpersonal and communication skills, alongside a comprehensive understanding of matrix management systems and organizational frameworks. A solid grasp of British and international standards, as well as regulatory requirements within the Process & Energy Sector, is crucial.

As a key member of our engineering team, you will be expected to have a profound understanding of engineering principles and practices. The ability to engage effectively with fellow engineers and stakeholders is vital. Candidates should be capable of working autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

A bachelor's degree in engineering is required, along with a minimum of 10 years of general engineering experience, including at least 7 years within the Process & Energy sector, focusing on design office and field engineering.
