About the Role

Mitsubishi Chemical is seeking a highly motivated Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing specialist guidance and support on strategic projects based in the UK and overseas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical expertise on electrical engineering for strategic projects, ensuring compliance with company SHE standards.
  • Lead the appraisal and appointment of engineering design contractors as Design Authorities in accordance with company SHE Standards.
  • Participate in Asset Integrity Procedure (AIP) and project audits.
  • Expand your network by liaising with external and internal functional experts.

Requirements

  • A good degree in electrical engineering, minimum BEng/BSc; MEng/MSc is preferred.
  • Extensive work experience post-graduation with significant experience in one or more of the Chemical, Petrochemical, or Oil and Gas industries.
  • Chartered Engineer status or equivalent.
  • Experience with on-site industrial power generation (e.g. CHP plants or similar).
  • Proficient with specialist software packages (SPEL, ETAP, SKM Power Tools, AMTECH, Navisworks, AutoCAD).
