Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil/Structural Engineer to join our team at Mitsubishi Chemical Group. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and guidance on civil and structural matters for major projects globally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a subject matter expert, providing corporate input on civil and structural issues.
  • Offer professional support to ensure structural designs are technically robust and cost-effective.
  • Provide technical input and guidance into the corporate Asset Integrity Procedure (AIP) in developing and refining company standards.
  • Use technical knowledge and understanding of engineering requirements to assist in the selection of subcontractors and relevant technical build evaluations.
  • Review and comment upon the civil and structural design deliverables provided by engineering contractors.
  • Attend project and design review meetings to ensure the design meets project requirements.
Requirements
  • Significant experience working in the chemical, petrochemical, or oil and gas sectors.
  • Previous experience in major projects, including front-end, detailed design, and construction phases.
  • Chartered Engineer or registered Professional Engineer.
  • A strong, technical engineering knowledge with experience in Process Unit Modularisation & Prefabricated Buildings.
