Job Title: Site Engineer for Civils Projects

Gortmore Limited is seeking a highly skilled Site Engineer to join our team for an immediate start on a Civils project in the Swindon area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Previous experience of working on Civils projects, specifically in Groundworks, drainage, service/ductwork installation, concrete, etc.
  • Excellent knowledge of setting out using GPS and robotic EDM.
  • Ability to manage and ensure QA documents are completed correctly.
  • Experience in carrying out ITPs.
  • Competence in reading drawings and quantifying materials.
  • Excellent communication skills for distributing project information to work colleagues.
  • Ability to ensure that works are being carried out to the latest drawings and documents.
  • Capability to work as part of a team in assisting site management with materials, KPIs, progress reports, etc.
  • Maintain a daily site diary.
  • Problem-solving capabilities and ability to raise any potential issues.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in Civils projects.
  • Excellent knowledge of setting out using GPS and robotic EDM.
  • Ability to manage and ensure QA documents are completed correctly.
