Reporting to the Operations Manager / Plant Manager Designate, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our manufacturing processes. Your primary mission? Enable the production teams to safely manufacture high-quality products at the lowest possible cost. You'll work closely with the Plant Manager to establish and implement the site vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with our business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Vision & Strategy: Collaborate with the Plant Manager to develop a 5-year site operations vision, driving sustainable cost and yield improvements year on year.
Process Improvement: Lead the Process Improvement team, identify problems, analyse root causes, and implement solutions to enhance product yield, quality, and process control. Manage equipment and process changes to achieve optimal quality at the lowest cost.
Quality Assurance: Lead the Quality Assurance team to ensure the plant consistently produces high-quality products. Manage external certifications (ISO9001, IATF16949) and handle customer complaints to uphold our brand values.
Health, Safety & Environment: Ensure site compliance with company safety policies and HSE legislation. Promote safe working practices and drive environmental performance improvements.
Production & Quality Support: Champion world-class manufacturing standards and support the plant in maintaining high-quality production.
Engineering & Maintenance: Foster cooperation between Process Improvement and engineering teams, identify machinery needs, and contribute to capital expenditure proposals.
Financial Management: Work with finance and the Plant Manager on annual capital and expense budgets, and control expenditures through variance and trend analysis.
People Management: Develop and optimise the Quality Assurance and Process Improvement teams, promote open communication, encourage a "can do" culture, and maintain high standards of employee relations.
Commercial & Logistics Support: Assist in product management, contribute to product line strategy, and work with supply chain teams to develop innovative solutions for a fast-moving, international customer base.What We Offer:

Previous experience in a Quality Manager or Process Management/Improvement position within the Manufacturing sector (ISO9001)
Must be confident in Lean process implementation / management.
