Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you will be instrumental in defining the future of our manufacturing operations.

Your primary objective? Empower production teams to safely deliver superior products while minimizing costs. You will collaborate closely with the Operations Manager to develop and execute the site’s vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with our corporate goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Vision: Partner with the Operations Manager to formulate a long-term operational vision, driving sustainable improvements in cost and yield annually.
  • Process Optimization: Lead the Process Improvement team to identify challenges, analyze root causes, and implement effective solutions to boost product yield, quality, and process efficiency. Oversee equipment and process modifications to achieve optimal quality at minimal expense.
  • Quality Management: Direct the Quality Assurance team to guarantee the consistent production of high-quality products. Manage external certifications and address customer feedback to uphold our brand integrity.
  • Health, Safety & Environment: Ensure compliance with corporate safety protocols and environmental legislation. Advocate for safe working practices and drive improvements in environmental performance.
  • Production & Quality Support: Promote world-class manufacturing standards and assist the plant in maintaining high-quality production levels.
  • Engineering & Maintenance Collaboration: Foster collaboration between Process Improvement and engineering teams, identify machinery requirements, and contribute to capital expenditure proposals.
  • Financial Oversight: Collaborate with finance and the Operations Manager on annual budgets, managing expenditures through variance and trend analysis.
  • Team Development: Cultivate and enhance the Quality Assurance and Process Improvement teams, fostering open communication, encouraging a proactive culture, and maintaining high standards of employee relations.
  • Commercial & Logistics Collaboration: Support product management, contribute to product line strategies, and work with supply chain teams to develop innovative solutions for a dynamic, international customer base.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a Quality Management or Process Improvement role within the manufacturing sector.
  • Strong proficiency in Lean process implementation and management.
  • Confident, inspiring, and passionate with a commitment to success and a professional demeanor.

Preferred Experience:

  • Familiarity with IATF16949 standards.
  • Experience with Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Background in textile manufacturing.
