About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team at Car Benefit Solutions. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Test Planning and Execution: Develop and execute test plans to ensure that all scenarios have been covered, providing confidence that quality code is released into production for our.NET and Web applications.
  • Test Script Development: Design and implement test scripts to validate business requirements, working closely with stakeholders to ensure that development meets those requirements.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Liaise with internal customers, software engineers, and BA teams to ensure robust fixes that resolve any issues, and collaborate with the team to size and estimate work.
  • Technical Knowledge and Skills: Stay up-to-date with new technologies, keep abreast of existing technologies, and contribute to the evolution of best practices within the department.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Document test processes and provide accurate test plans and testing estimates to enable project planning.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Degree in a related field and ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level.
  • Skills and Knowledge: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, experience in testing web-based systems, including the user interface/web screen and web services, and ability to work towards strict deadlines within a fast-paced environment.
Desirable Skills
  • Agile Development Environment: Experience working in an agile development environment, using Kanban/Scrum boards, and tools like Azure DevOps or Atlassian's Jira.
  • Testing Techniques and Processes: Good working knowledge of all relevant testing techniques and processes, including.Net C# knowledge, SQL knowledge, and experience with automation testing.
