Casework Coordinator/Administrator

Salary: £19,600 per annum (£24,000 full-time equivalent) - 09:00 - 17:00 Monday to Friday
Hours: Part-time, 30 hours per week

Location: Based in Taunton, covering Minehead & Highbridge

The Role:
As a Criminal Justice Casework Coordinator, you will manage referrals, assess, and support clients in maintaining accommodation and making positive life changes. You will develop productive relationships with key partner agencies such as the National Probation Service, Police, and other criminal justice and support services to facilitate multi-agency support planning.
Responsibilities Include:
Build positive and effective working relationships with relevant external agencies, including criminal justice services.
Participate in an out-of-hours on-call system (1 week in 12).
Engage in rostered working systems, including weekends and evenings as required.
Provide high-quality, person-centred service using a strength-based and trauma-informed approach.
Manage incidents and safeguarding, ensuring actions are taken and followed up as needed.Qualifications / Requirements:
Full driving licence and access to own car.
Experience working with people with complex needs and challenging behaviour.
Personal experience of homelessness or social exclusion.
Understanding of the causes of offending, homelessness, and social exclusion, and approaches to address these issues.
