We have an excellent opportunity for you to join our Consumer Care team as a Global Marketing Lead – Sustainability Customer Engagement for our Consumer Care business based at our head offices, Cowick Hall, in East Yorkshire. You will develop and deliver a sustainability communications program, including specific projects, for the Consumer Care business, as defined by the business sustainability plan.
You will lead the creation and execution of the sustainability communications plan, including thought leadership and educational programs, across target audiences. You will plan and lead the successful execution of internal and external Consumer Care sustainability events and training, collaborating with business and regional teams to ensure a strong focus on sustainability to meet agreed strategic objectives. You will develop sustainability content for a variety of communication channels. You will implement effective publicity plans to support of leadership position in sustainability. You will maintain alignment of sustainability collateral and events with corporate and business branding guidelines and measure success of our sustainability communication activities. We want to hear from you if you are a technical communications specialist, looking to apply your skills around a sustainability focus, a digital marketer looking to use your knowledge to extend our reach for our sustainability impacts, or a marketer who is keen to learn more about the science behind sustainability to help drive our strategy, innovation and Commitment to sustainability.

Essentials:
- You will be a highly effective communicator, capable of producing a high standard of written, verbal and visual work.
- You will have excellent planning and organisational skills, with a strong attention to detail and ability to manage a communications program acrossmultiple channels.
- You will be curious and creative, contributing new ideas and ways of working to the team.
- You will have knowledge of media marketing, communications and PR strategies.
- You will be able to extract and summarise key points from complex technical and marketing information.
- You will be self-motivated and able to work independently and flexibly.
- You will have a proven record of achieving objectives and targets within previous project management experience.
- Educated to degree level, ideally within marketing or communications or have equivalent marketing/industry experience.
Desirables:
- Previous experience working within a global work team, including having a remote manager.
- Awareness and understanding of sustainability standards, ie. ISO Carbon and LCA reporting.
- Knowledge and experience in creating content compliant with legislation regarding sustainability claims.
- Educational background or experience in sustainability related communications.
