About the Role

Croda is a leading organization in the Consumer Care sector, focused on delivering innovative solutions that improve lives. As a Global Marketing Director, you will play a critical role in driving the development and long-term strategy for our global marketing teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to drive organic growth and innovation.
  • Lead the strategic marketing elements of our competition and customer landscape, ensuring strong collaboration with regional research and technology teams.
  • Provide leadership and strategic direction to marketing teams, aligning short and long-term business plans with those of sales, R&D, and PSRA.
  • Identify opportunities for new business product launches, marketing trends, and customer and consumer needs.
  • Ensure new product launches meet minimum gross margin contributions and rationalize existing products that do not meet the criteria.
  • Accountable for all marketing aspects of the business unit, ensuring customer service and health & safety management align with group standards.
  • Serve as the final authority on marketing campaigns, advertising, and branding information.
  • Ensure succession and coaching are provided to deliver/maintain the correct organizational structure.
  • Creatively approach the commercialization of new products across all market segments, with a strong preference for patented technology and protected intellectual property.

Requirements

  • Experience in delivering complex market strategies in a large Consumer Care-related organization.
  • Firm understanding of customer and competitor behavior, with a background in leading matured strategic marketing cultures and methodologies globally.
  • Designed and successfully implemented organizational and/or cultural change initiatives in a large, matrix organization.
  • Highly creative and curious mindset to identify new ways of working aimed at embedding an improvement culture.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills to build relationships internally and with key customers globally.
  • Passion for sustainability and innovation, with a track record of interpreting and delivering on corporate sustainability targets with research and development teams.
  • Highly inclusive leader who can build balanced cross-cultural teams that support fair treatment and opportunity for all.

Additional Information

  • This position can be based at any of our Croda sites globally, with a preference for being based at our Head/Regional Offices in the UK, Paris, Barcelona, Singapore, or Princeton, NJ.
  • Relocation support will be provided if required.
