Responsibilities:
- Assemble and fabricate metal parts and components using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or product specifications to determine the layout and assembly of parts.
- Measure, cut, shape, and bend metal components to specified dimensions.
- Weld components together using various welding techniques such as stick welding.
- Inspect completed welds for quality and accuracy.
- Perform basic math calculations to determine measurements and dimensions.
- Use precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy during fabrication.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in welding and fabrication.
- Proficient in various welding techniques including stick welding.
- Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in metal fabrication.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Mechanical knowledge to understand equipment operation and troubleshooting.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or product specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
