About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join our client's team. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading and developing a high-performing sales team, creating and executing long-term sales strategies, and driving sales growth through effective pricing and cost management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a high-performing sales team within a subcontract engineering environment.
- Create and execute long-term sales strategies that align with the company's business objectives.
- Develop and implement processes to generate an accurate and robust sales pipeline.
- Drive sales growth through effective pricing and cost management strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to ensure alignment and support for sales strategies.
- Negotiate and close high-value contracts and manage complex deals.
- Experience in leading change initiatives within a sales team, including adapting to market shifts and introducing new technologies.
Requirements
- Proven experience in leading and developing high-performing sales teams within a subcontract engineering environment.
- Expertise in creating and executing long-term sales strategies that align with the company's business objectives.
- Strong proficiency in leveraging CRM systems and sales analytics to drive informed decisions.
- Extensive experience with CRM platforms, optimizing their use to manage customer relationships, track sales activities, and generate actionable insights.
- Exceptional negotiation skills, with a proven track record of closing high-value contracts and managing complex deals.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in sales budgeting, P&L management, and driving profitability through effective pricing and cost management strategies.
