We are on the search for passionate and enthusiastic Youth Workers to join the growing Challengers Team at Richmond Youth Scheme As a Youth Worker you can expect to play all day ensuring the children attending Challengers have the best possible time

no prior experience is needed, this job is not without its physical and emotional challenges and you will be required to administer personal care and ensure the safeguarding of vulnerable children in our care.

The Charity


Challengers is charity that has provided Play and Leisure services to disabled children and young people across the South-East for over 40 years.

At our schemes, children and young people can make friends and have the opportunity to try exciting new activities.


At the same time, families with disabled children can use these short breaks to pursue activities such as shopping or spending time with their other children.

Families have told us that the Challengers lifeline of support keeps them strong.

Our non-exclusion policy means that anyone is welcome at a Challengers scheme.

We don't set any geographical boundaries and young people do not have to be on a 'disability register' to access our service - where others say no, Challengers says yes.
