About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Play and Youth Worker. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering inclusive play and youth services to disabled children and young people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality play and youth services to our clients, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement play and youth programs that meet the needs of our clients.
  • Provide support and guidance to clients, promoting their independence and self-confidence.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of a positive and inclusive team culture.
Requirements
  • Experience working with disabled children and young people, preferably in a play or youth setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and evenings, to meet the needs of our clients.
  • Commitment to the values of Disability Challengers, including accountability, ambition, inclusivity, playfulness, and trustworthiness.
