The Role


This is an exciting opportunity to join our sales team as part of our DMC team at our new office in St.

Andrews, Fife, Scotland.

As a Sales Agent you will be on the front line of our business as the first point of contact for customers looking to book incredible golf experiences.

This is a fast paced and challenging role where you will be liaising between clients and venues to book all elements of a customer's golf trip.


This role will be part of a brand new team and as such, there will be great opportunities for progression and personal development as we continue to grow our team.


Key General Responsibilities:

  • Building rapport with customers and using effective questioning and conversational techniques to identify their requirements.
  • Advising customers on the perfect destinations, hotels, golf courses, and added extras (golf carts, rental clubs etc) while stressing the unique selling points of these in relation to their requirements in order to make the sale and upsell where you can.
  • Meeting monthly, quarterly and annual sales objectives
  • Ensure compliance with all business operating procedures
  • Maintaining a high level of product knowledge at all times through ongoing training and personal research

Requirements:

  • High School diplomas or educational equivalent
  • You will be an enthusiastic sales person with excellent customer service skills,ideally in the hospitality or leisure sectors.
  • MS Office & Google Suites knowledge (Google Drivedocs, sheets, Gmail)
  • Good time management and the ability to work under pressure are prerequisites
  • Detail oriented and able to multitask
  • An interest in golf is essential, a passion for it beneficial.
  • Target driven, team oriented and selfmotivated, you will enjoy healthy competition and incentives in the workplace to help drive you to exceed targets set
