About The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join us at Sunbelt Rentals UK as a Regional HR Advisor. Not only will this role provide you with great exposure to our first-class People team, the ever-growing operational teams, and exciting projects but it will also offer you an enviable working style.

This is a Regional role based in the South of England and London with the autonomy to manage your own diary, you will work with combining homeworking with travel to our sites as well as the occasional visit to our head office in Warrington.

We are looking for someone who has a true passion for People and HR with a desire to support the development and delivery of a people plan that enables a high-performance culture. You'll have the credibility to build strong relationships with senior stakeholders in a multi-site environment and a collaborative approach.

In this role you will also provide a top-class HR advisory service to the business. Case work will be yours to manage from cradle to grave and this will provide both exposure and development in areas such as upskilling, coaching, workforce planning, employee relations, TUPE and Projects. You will receive development and support from your line manager, the People Business Partner, and together you will ensure that the People function operates efficiently, effectively and in line with current legislation. You will also work closely with the wider People team to assist in delivering our exciting company-wide people initiatives and projects.

About You

To excel in this role, you will hold a CIPD level 5 qualification (or working towards), strong knowledge of employment legislation and current HR practices and the confidence to advise stakeholders of all levels. Ideally, you'll have extensive experienced as a HR generalist who is used to working autonomously and be well-versed in advising and coaching managers in relation to ER issues and beyond. Excellent communication skills are critical if you are to succeed at building relationships and influencing your key stakeholders.

You will be confident and be able to work alone, advising managers day to day as well as working as part of a larger team. Managing own workload, travel will be expected as required across the operational network and overnight stays will be likely dependent upon diary commitments. We anticipate applicants will be living in a location with good transport links to effectively operate in this role.
