Assistant Coordinator (Readycall Service)

Ashbourne and (less frequently) Bakewell

15 hours, £ 22,369 per annum pro rata


An opportunity for a calm, patient individual to help people in the Derbyshire Dales affected by long term health conditions access services enabling them to lead independent and fulfilled lives.

You will assist in organising and resourcing appropriate support on a case by case basis, liaising with service users and a bank of volunteers.


What will I be doing:

  • Supporting the service Coordinators to engage with clients, in particular: _
- first line contact for new referrals
- updating and monitoring service user data on our CRM
- coordinating and communicating with other team members and volunteers
- assisting in the promotion of services and recruitment of volunteers

What skills and experience do you need to have:

  • Office administration skills
  • Ability to use CRM and databases
  • Previous engagement with service users and volunteers
  • Working with vulnerable people or local communities
  • IT skills including Microsoft Office, Canva and Publisher
  • Enthusiastic, versatile and selfmotivated with the ability to work well as part of a team
  • Understand how to respond/prioritise to varying demands

The team is based in Ashbourne and Bakewell, Derbyshire, with some remote working. There will be an opportunity to discuss working arrangements at interview.
