**Duties**:

- Add customer and prospective customer information on to our CRM system, and keep it up-to-date
- Use the CRM system to record notes of meetings and calls, and to set actions
- Keep an accurate and up-to-date filing system for all customers that is both logical and easy to follow
- Ensure the export manual for each country is kept updated and complete
- Assist with the account set-up for new export customers
- Become familiar with every aspect of every product that will be relevant to customers and potential customers
- Send samples, marketing and promotional material, and price lists to current and prospective customers, when requested to do so by Account Sales Managers
- Enter sales orders and related instructions promptly and accurately on to the system
- Discuss orders with customers and amend those orders, where this is necessary to meet minimum order quantities and pallet layer configurations
- Send order confirmations to customers
- Make colleagues who are responsible for fulfilment and despatch aware of special customer requirements
- Inform customers of likely delivery dates
- Contact customers to establish their actual future order requirements against forecasts they have placed
- Raise purchase orders for external stock
- Liaise with freight forwarders for ETAs and freight rates
- Liaise with transport companies to arrange collection and delivery of orders
- Ensure all documentation (including Health Certificates, Certificates of Origin, RPA Certificates of Free Sale, and Certificates to be authenticated by a Notary Public) have been applied for and are accurately prepared, and all customer-specific collection procedures are being followed, so as to ensure that all orders are despatched correctly
- Invoice customers promptly and accurately
- Issue credit notes as required
- Approve invoices from freight forwarders and certificate-issuing authorities, and submit them for payment.
- Some direct business-to-business sales administration experience, preferably export-related
- Evidence of attention to detail
- Evidence of reliability
- Evidence of enthusiasm
- Some interest in and appreciation of quality food
- Preferably a working knowledge of one European language other than English.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: Up to £25,000.00 per year
