Rate of Pay:

up to PS20,918 per annum depending on age (up to PS10.42 per hour depending on age) rising to PS22,965 per annum depending on age (up to PS11.44 per hour depending on age) from 01st April 2024.


We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to maximise our membership sales and promote the superb facilities and activities at Your Space Metrodome.

Charismatic, confident and with a flair for sales, you'll encourage and actively persuade potential customers to subscribe, building strong relationships at every opportunity.

In addition to selling, you'll also be responsible for the smooth running of each subscription, including the management of administration, personal records and account details.


To be successful, you will have experience in a customer driven environment and a talent for building an instant rapport through excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.

Having already worked in a sales environment yourself, you'll understand that meeting targets is essential, together with strong PC skills and the ability to work both on your own initiative and as part of a team.

DETAILS OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Job Purpose and Main Aims
Responsible for generating external sales of fitness memberships, events, and other marketable products to individual and corporate clients.

To generate supplementary income streams through sourcing sponsorship and reciprocal business opportunities that enhances the

profitability and quality of service provision.

Specifically

  • To liaise closely with the Facility Manager, Corporate Sales Manager and Marketing Team to promote
sales campaigns for various BPL products, including fitness memberships, events and bookings.

  • To work closely with BPL's operational managers and frontline staff to maximize the effectiveness
of marketing work and promotional material produced.

  • To drive sales through identifying and sourcing appropriate sales leads for follow up and completion
in order to maximize profitability.

  • To assist in the development and maintenance of effective customer databases, to assist in the marketing
of the company and to sell future events.

  • To deliver targets and achieve performance indicators agreed as part of the post holders
Personal Performance Management Plan and site action plans.

  • To book/administrate any room hires and pass on information to the relevant managers to execute
and confirm booking.

  • To sell fitness subscriptions, operate and manage the subscription administration including Direct Debit.
  • Actively convert pay and play and day pass customers to direct debit.
  • To actively encourage wider use of the Centre's activities and facilities to current and potential customers,
communicating new ventures, special offers, etc to customers.

  • To undertake all administrative duties, including maintenance of all records in accordance with set procedures.
  • To be responsible for cash takings, counting and banking monies, in conjunction with reception.
  • To identify and communicate to the Bookings & Sales Manager any future training and development needs.
  • To participate in staff training sessions on a monthly basis to ensure you remain current with all
BPL' s Sales policies and procedures

And any other duties commensurate with the grade and falling within the scope of the post, as requested by Management.
