About the role and our team
Join our Digital and Informatics Team within Manx Care as Digital Delivery Lead.

You'll be joining us at an exciting time as we embark on a programme of work to implement the new Manx Care Record, replacing numerous legacy systems across the organisation.

These legacy systems have evolved over many years and present a challenging technical platform to support and maintain.

Manx Care Record will see the replacement of many of these legacy systems with a state of the art single solution used across multiple clinical settings.


You will play an instrumental role in providing technical expertise on our legacy systems and helping support the migration to the new Electronic Patient Record (EPR) platform.

You will perform the role of domain expert, overseeing multiple concurrent change projects.

The majority of the activity will be pre-planned work streams requiring you to have an organised and structured approach, although there will occasionally be the need to remediate issues arising on a reactive basis.

You are already likely to be working in a technology based role and familiar with the challenges of coordinating resources from other technology, telecoms, hosting, software development and integration specialists.


We're a flexible, hardworking and close-knit team who attend weekly stand-ups to share progress, projects and issues and we have a willingness to listen and adopt new ideas.


What can this role offer me?


There is the opportunity for exposure to new technologies and to undertake research into new areas not yet available to the healthcare setting on the Isle of Man.

These may be wide ranging and cover areas such as robotics and AI.


You will be influential in planning and scheduling your own work, reporting on progress and establishing your own work patterns.

You will also be able to prioritise your work according to business requirements.
